New Feature: Ambition Forecaster
Publicly launching ForecasterBeta has been a long time coming... our resident Harvard PhD has been building, testing, and training this system for the better part of a year and the results are impressive.
Let's start by saying Ambition Forecaster is the tip of Ambition's quick-forming analytics iceberg. Underneath the surface is Ambition Brain, a probabilistic learning engine built to help Ambition learn from the past to predict the future. Alongside Brain we have Ambition Lucy, a poweful data bridge that connects raw data to industry-leading analysis tools (some of which said PhD has personally written) so that we can build things fast and at scale.
Forecaster accurately predicts KPIs into the future on a per-employee, per-group, and company-wide basis. Starting today Ambition customers have this for each and every metric:
The solid lines represent actual metric attainment while the dotted lines represent projections. The light blue zone signifies the boundaries at which Forecast can confidently predict actual metric attainment to fall in-between. Notice how the zone starts narrow and expands over time, this is the system taking into account future uncertainty. As you get closer to the end of a time period the zone will dynamically update to become narrower.
Unlike competitors where you manually select pace from one of three hard-coded options... Ambition Forecast tracks behavior, analyzes patterns, and trains a predictive model per person so that every employee ends up with something like below per metric:
