Part I. Your Sales Performance Data Center
Ambition integrates with any of the following data sources for your company:
- Major CRMs
- Phone Systems
- Google Docs
- Yesware and other Salesforce.com Apps
- Homegrown or Legacy CSVs
- Excel spreadsheets
If your company uses any of these tools, we can passively take in your team's individual performance data, such as outbound phone calls, emails, profit, revenue, email reply rate, et cetera, from that source. Best of all, we can launch competitions for brand new customers in less than 30 minutes.
Integrate Multiple Systems
Not only do we support most major CRMs and phone systems, we can track your data from multiple systems simultaneously. For example: if your company uses Salesforce (CRM), Avaya (phone system), and Yesware (email tracker), we can sync with all three and create competitions based around metrics from all three systems.
Cisco, Dropbox, Broadsoft, Google Docs -- you name it, we integrate with it. These simultaneous integrations all take place underneath the hood, and all the data is tracked automatically.
Salesforce users: Our integration with Salesforce is particularly deep. We can now input Salesforce metrics into our new integration system in minutes.
Phone system users: If you use Cisco, Avaya, Broadsoft, Airnet, or any other major phone system, data from your phone calls can automatically sync with Ambition out of the box.
If your company wishes to track its own internal metrics and then send them to Ambition, that is easily doable. Ambition customers also have the option of forwarding data to our API or to FTP/SFTP.
Track Custom Objects
We now have an entire site dedicated to onboarding people onto Ambition. Also, since Salesforce uses our new integration system, we can dynamically track any organization's custom and standard objects and fields.
In addition, we can manually process your company's old data. We also allow you to change the format of incoming data or your metrics themselves, no questions asked. If you can export your data, we can take those numbers and run with them.
Part II. 360° Sales Performance Visibility
One of our best features is the "Ambition Score" which uses multiple metrics to create a single, daily performance score. The Ambition Score is a snapshot of overall employee performance.
What makes the Ambition Score truly unique is that managers can completely customize metrics. And with our new metric system, tailoring these metrics is incredibly simple -- just look at the image below. Our metric system is powerful enough that your customer representatives can build custom metrics for your company instantly.
Compete Across Departments
Ambition is the first platform engineered for cross-department competition.
Sales Department vs. Customer Service Department. Marketing vs. Human Resources. Cold Callers vs. Lead Generators. They're competing right now on Ambition. How? The normalized Ambition Score.
Although different departments have different job functions and benchmarks, the Ambition score is typically based on the ability of employees to meet or exceed these benchmarks. Put more simply, the Ambition score measures individual performance relative to his or her designated benchmarks. Cross-department competitions are only about which team performs better in the prior respect. A competition between a sales team and a customer service team will be decided based on which side most succeeds in meeting its own benchmarks.
Create Advanced Metrics
Ambition has the power to collect data from various platforms and then combine them into a single advanced metric. With the new metrics, we can track almost any metric imaginable, and it can all be done dynamically. For example: Salesforce Profit / Cisco phone system calls = Profit Per Call. We also offer leaderboards that instantaneously rank advanced metrics. You want to rank your employees based on profit-per-call? You got it.
Set Flexible Objectives
In intra-department competitions, managers do not have to use benchmarks, but can base the competitions on anything they desire. For example, a Manager can have an email-centric competition that only scores employees on their number of outbound emails, email open rate, reply rate, and so forth. The competition can involve just one of these metrics, or as many as the Manager likes.
All told, Ambition scores can be configured in different ways throughout the organization. Do you want to configure Ambition Scores for leagues? Per manager? We give you the freedom to let whomever you choose set up scoring.
Back Up Data
We now have a centralized place for all of our incoming data, making monitoring your company incredibly easy. This allows for very accurate data measurement. We also have a reliable backup mechanism and reprocessing mechanism for data. Because of these changes, we can also support incoming Salesforce clients with ease.
Filter By Call Type
Organizations often change the meaning of what they mean by 'outgoing call'. With our filtering system, we can make Ambition totally customizable to your organization's culture. An example of our filtering ability: For phone system users, we can filter outgoing calls and only credit employees for calls two minutes or longer.

Customize Your Sales Competitions
Originally, Ambition only supported one type of game: A multi-week Regular Season followed by a two-week Playoff and "Best of the Rest" matchup." That has changed.While our default competition still exists, we can now spin up any type of competition imaginable, across any time and interval and using either benchmarks or individual metrics. Our competition formatting is now completely tailorable to your demands.
For example: We now offer weekly rumbles, where employees compete Battle Royale-style with a configurable number of winners. We can do one-on-one, single day Grudge Matches. Ambition users can create entire seasons focused solely on individual metrics, such as profit. With Ambition, the list of potential competitions is endless.
Profile Your Users and Teams
Ambition makes managing a large group of employees infinitely easier. Our new profile pages offer intuitive access to the most important performance metrics for you, your team, and your company. For instance, Ambition now contains profile pages specifically adapted to each employee, team, and league.
Team profiles are now completely competition-centric, while account profiles revolve around the individual. On each page, you can find important performance data on an aggregate or a metric-by-metric basis. For more quick performance insights, you can also check the Ambition Leaderboard (which focuses solely on accounts) and the League Rankings page (which focuses solely on teams).
Data Analytics & Ambition TV
Ambition also includes two new features that extend beyond metrics, integration, and game processing. We now offer Ambition TV, which broadcasts interactive, dynamic leaderboards of your choosing.
