The search is finally over! I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Butler Raines to the Ambition team as our new VP and Head of Product. Butler joins us from SalesLoft, where he was Head of Product and part of the executive team that recently led the company to a $1.1B valuation as one of the world’s leading sales engagement platforms.
Our customers know that I have been closely engaged with our product since founding Ambition 7 years ago, so I didn’t take it lightly when searching for the right person to take the reins… I think it’s fair to say that my bar was extremely high.
It didn’t long for me to realize, along with the rest of the Ambition leadership team, that Butler was the experienced, visionary leader that Ambition needs to represent the needs of our customers and scale our business. Given his proven track record, deep network and relationships, and insight into what the future holds for sales technology, I am excited (and humbled) to add such an accomplished leader to our executive leadership team and company.
Butler has been leading product organizations and building platforms in Atlanta over the last 10 years, including SalesLoft and The Bitter Southerner, and he credits his success in the role to building empowered, high-performing teams, his focus on customers, and great coaching and mentoring.
