Last month we wrote about why ad hoc coaching breaks down once a revenue team scales past a handful of reps, and what a real coaching infrastructure looks like when you build one on purpose. This month's Coach to Close session picked up where that conversation left off with a more practical question: if you already have that infrastructure, are you actually using all of it?

Most teams aren't — and that's not a knock on anyone. Features get set up once during onboarding, priorities shift, and it's easy for something useful to quietly fade into the background once the day-to-day takes over. Our team knows the power of the platform we have built. This month’s webinar highlighted the features you might not use enough and the ones we can’t stop recommending. Here’s the recap.

Features You Aren't Using Enough

Accolades

One of the easiest wins on this list. Accolades turn recognition into something automatic instead of something a manager has to remember to do — milestone clubs like the AE $25k Revenue/Month Club or tiered Revenue Clubs ($500k, $1M, $2M) fire off on their own the moment a rep crosses the line. It's automated recognition, and teams that feel seen are more likely to also feel fired up. If you haven't touched Accolades yet, start small — like testing out peer-to-peer accolades.

Goals

Goals get undersold because they might sound redundant. They aren’t – and they provide an opportunity to mix up what a rep is working towards. Goals are simple, easy to use, and apply to everyone — a manual pipeline goal, a team-vs-individual split, or a goal pushed straight to the office TV all take minutes to set up, and they turn a number in a report into something a rep sees every day.

Slack Commands

If your team lives in Slack, this is the fastest way to make Ambition part of the daily rhythm instead of a separate tab. Share a leaderboard to a channel, launch a competition, or drop a coaching note directly to a rep — all without leaving Slack. It weaves Ambition into your daily motions rather than asking reps to change their habits to find it.

Workflows

This is the one we want to see people get creative with. Workflows can do far more than send a weekly digest — teams are using them for scheduled coaching reports, scheduled leaderboards pushed to Slack or Teams, and full pipeline intelligence reports triggered automatically when a rep crosses 100% of goal. If you've only ever used Workflows for one report, it's worth a second look at what else it can trigger.

Forecast Builder

Forecasting is hard, and most tools only show you where the pipeline stands today — not how it got there. Whether you're using another tool, Salesforce, or leaning on conversation intelligence, you're missing the evolution of how the forecast and commit changes week over week. Forecast Builder's Sales Forecast Changes view solves for exactly that: spot recent pipeline movement before it becomes a surprise in the forecast call, and pull open pipeline directly into a 1:1 so the coaching conversation starts from what actually happened, not a stale snapshot.

Coaching Analytics

Our last pick in this section is also the one we think matters most long-term. Not enough time gets spent measuring whether coaching is actually making an impact — Coaching Analytics is what turns coaching from a qualitative activity into something you can actually measure and improve. The Accountability view tracks whether 1:1s are happening and getting completed; Insights tells you whether they're working.

Our Team’s Favorite Features

The Ambition Agent - Chad, Team Lead, Customer Success

If you've explored the Agent at all, you already know why this tops the list — it unlocks insights we've never had access to before. Ask it something like "assess my managers' coaching effectiveness" and it'll analyze coaching frequency, rep performance trends, pipeline progression, and coaching themes across your whole org, then hand back a summary finding.

Scorecards - Emma, Head of Customer Success

People immediately get the comparison we use for this one: think of it as a Fitbit for your sales day. A Daily Activity Score gives reps a single number to hit, tracked over time — and because it's visible and simple, it becomes an empowering tool that sets clear expectations for what "successful" looks like on any given day.

Skills - Brian, COO

This is the feature that turns the Agent from a smart search bar into something you build. AI Skills let you configure a completely custom, consistent, repeatable experience — a Coaching Effectiveness Radar, a Coaching Conversation Themes analysis, a Daily Manager Brief — and once it's built, it's hyper-flexible: if you can imagine Ambition impacting your revenue team's management process, performance analysis, or the intel reps and managers act on, a Skill can deliver it whenever you want it.

Explore What I'm Capable Of - Ryan, CSM

Our favorite corner of the Agent, and for a specific reason: it takes Ambition beyond reporting what someone has already accomplished and gets them thinking about what they're capable of accomplishing next. Prompts like "find my biggest change" or "get a team pulse" are motivational and personalized, and they tie directly back to coaching and behavior change — which is where Ambition is most valuable.

Ambition Academy - Dannon, Scaled CX Coordinator

Last but not least, the resource we point every customer to now: your personalized HQ for Ambition training. It's the one-stop shop for onboarding new admins, catching up on recent releases, and getting up to speed on what's new in Agentic Ambition.
