Every manager has lived this moment: you book a coaching session in Ambition, forget to check your actual calendar, and double-book yourself. Or worse, you spend five minutes in a Slack thread just trying to find a time that works. Multiply that by every 1:1, deal review, and coaching session on your plate, and it adds up to a real tax on the time you're supposed to be spending coaching, not calendaring. The Ambition Calendar Integration exists so that never happens again.

Connect your Google or Microsoft calendar once and Ambition and your calendar stay in lockstep. Real-time, two-way, with no manual updating required. Schedule a session in Ambition and it shows up on your calendar. Edit a session in Ambition and your calendar reflects it. Someone grabs time on your calendar and Ambition already knows you're busy.

Here's how to set it up, in three steps.

Flip the Switch

Only an Ambition Admin (Integrations: Edit permissions) can flip this on for your org. One quick click and the whole org benefits.

  1. In Ambition, go to Admin > Integrations > Available > Calendar Sync.
  2. Select Enable, then choose Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar as your provider.
  3. Optional: rename the integration and add your IT team's email as the admin contact.

Enabling it adds a Calendar Sync Settings tab to everyone's User Settings. That doesn't connect anyone's calendar automatically. Every person still has to opt in themselves, which brings us to the part that actually matters.

Heads up: disabling Calendar Sync later deletes all scheduled meetings company-wide, so treat this as a one-way door once your team is using it.

Connect your own calendar

No admin permissions needed here. This is on every individual user to do, and it takes about thirty seconds.

  1. Click your profile picture, then go to User Settings > Integrations.
  2. Select Connect Calendar next to Google or Microsoft.
  3. Approve the permissions request from your provider.

That's it. Any coaching session involving you now shows up on your work calendar automatically, in real time, both ways.

Schedule with confidence

With calendars connected, scheduling gets a lot easier: Compare team availability before you book, instead of guessing. Add your meeting link — if your team uses Zoom, make sure it's authenticated so Ambition can attach the link automatically. Schedule seamlessly, right from Ambition, no tab-switching required.
