Sales Engineer

Ambition is starting to scale our end-to-end sales process and we're looking to hire our first Sales Engineer to decouple the more complex, technical aspects of solution-selling from current sales team. Being the first in this role you'll be responsible for working directly with founders to define expectations and set a high bar for yourself and those to follow. 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as Sales Engineer within a software company strongly preferred.
  • Technical aptitude. Engineering background strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Your first several months will be spent working with team to acquire an encylopedic knowledge of the Ambition product and platform. This will include building out a wide variety of complex scenarios within sandboxed environments.

  • Assist sales team with product demonstrations and technical diligence.
    • Define and continually refine demonstration script for specific customer needs and scenarios.
  • Assist customer success team with implementation and onboarding. 
  • Develop working relationships with customers' technical assets.
  • Improve end-user technical documentation.
  • Build tools and process to improve pre-sales experience and efficiency.
